Maintenance of Wooden Poles
Routine light pole maintenance and safety inspections are essential to ensure the modern appearance and structural integrity of aging infrastructure. Corrosion, which reduces structural integrity, is inevitable. All natural and man-made structures, whether manufactured from steel, wood, aluminium or other materials, are susceptible to decay and eventual failure.
With proven experience in designing and manufacturing decorative wooden lighting poles, the technical team at Valmont® Structures also offers inspection and routine maintenance services for installed wooden poles which can enhance the appearance and service life of these structures.
We also offer pole safety inspections and structural integrity analysis through our business alliance with REI-LUX Group. Using the results of the REI-LUX measuring technique, customers receive valuable information regarding the current state condition of the structures on their property or in their care.
The test results may help customers pinpoint potential problems and gain insights needed for repairs, reinforcements or replacement of at-risk structures.

Our structures can be designed to meet both CSA and AASHTO standards.
